Colloqui Support

Yes. Colloqui is the native client for the self-hosted Colloqui chat server — it doesn't connect to any central service. You point it at your own instance (or one you've been invited to). You can learn how to stand up a server on the Colloqui page.

On the login screen, tap Server and enter your server's address — your HTTPS domain (for example https://chat.example.com), or http://<ip>:3300 on a local network. Then sign in with your username and password.

Sign in with the username and password for your Colloqui server. To register a new account you may need an invite code from your server's administrator. The first account created on a brand-new server becomes its admin.

Make sure you allowed notifications when prompted (and that they're enabled for Colloqui in iOS Settings). Push also requires your server to have Apple Push (APNs) configured. Finally, check that the channel isn't muted — per-channel mute settings are always respected.

Yes. Your messages, files, and account live on your own server — the app talks only to it, plus Apple's push service for notifications. There's no tracking, advertising, or analytics. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Signing out clears your stored sign-in token and cached data from this device. Deleting the app removes all of its local data. Your account and messages remain on your server, managed there by you or your administrator.
