Requires a Scrinium Server

Scrinium is the capture companion for the self-hosted Scrinium document library. Point it at your own instance, or the one your household runs. Learn how to run one →

Do I need my own server to use Scrinium?
Yes. The app is the capture companion for the self-hosted Scrinium document library — it doesn't connect to any central service. You point it at your own instance. Learn how to set up a server on the Scrinium page.
How do I sign in?
Enter your server's address, then sign in with the email and password for your account on that server. Accounts live on your server — the first visit to a fresh instance walks through creating the initial user.
How does scanning work?
Tap scan and the system document camera captures your pages. The text is recognized on your phone at capture time (Apple's Vision OCR), the pages are assembled into a PDF, and the PDF plus its text upload together — your server never needs to re-OCR a phone capture.
What does "Share to Scrinium" do?
Share a PDF or image from any app and it uploads to your library as an ordinary document; your server's own OCR handles it from there. Only what you explicitly share is sent, and only to your server.
Is my data private?
Yes. Documents go only to your own server, OCR runs on your device, and there's no tracking, advertising, or analytics. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I sign out or reset the app?
Signing out clears your stored sign-in token from this device (including the share extension). Deleting the app removes its local data. Your documents remain on your server, managed there by you or your administrator.
